Jordan Rambis and Fatal1ty Join Glytch Advisory Board

Esports and gaming venue company Glytch has named Jordan Rambis and Johnathan Wendelas the newest members of its Advisory Board.

Wendel and Rambis will support the company in its plans to create a network of esports stadiums in the United States and Canada through activations and content.

Glytch plans to open more than 30 esports stadiums in North America in the next seven years. The first venue is set to open in Los Angeles, California, followed by a second one in Columbus, Ohio. Glytch is supported by a strong lineup of partners and investors and plans to offer its venues for esports competitions, concerts, TED talks and other events.

The two new advisors are well-known names in gaming and esports. Jordan Rambis is the president of 1337 Facilities, has worked for aXiomatic Gaming and is a minority-owner of Evil Geniuses. Rambis also works as a producer with the likes of Hulu and Netflix, and is an Executive In Residence in Los Angeles.

Johnathan Wendel, formerly known as ‘Fatal1ty’, is one of the most-known esports professionals in history. A prominent Quake players, Wendel was one of the first esports stars in the late 90s and early 00s, and has held various positions in esports since retiring from competition. His brand, Fatal1ty, has worked with many PC hardware brands to create gaming equipment such as motherboards, sound cards and peripherals.

Wendel recently collaborated with Glytch on a lineup of gaming tables called Glytch Battle Stations, which are used to improve the efficiency of setting up gaming equipment by keeping necessary components in the table itself. Battle Stations will be featured in all Glytch locations in the future.

Newly appointed Glytch advisor Rambis said: “I still remember my first LAN, a hole in the wall next to a Pizza Hut, when gamers were mostly nerds like me. Now gaming touches every culture, it’s universal. My goal is to bring in partners for Glytch that are passionate about gaming, to build a company so gamers of all kinds will have a destination that will be every gamer’s dream.”
